Cardenio Petrucci is a designer, creative director, and cultural entrepreneur whose work embodies the intersections of heritage and innovation. Moving between Italy, and California, he has led an international career that spans design practice, entrepreneurship, and creative direction.
He has founded and led influential ventures including DZINE and DSEGNARE, shaping San Francisco’s design culture for well over a decade. Later, at DFM, he acted as both VP of Marketing and de facto Art Director, where the Blend and International collections won Interior Design Magazine’s Best of the Year Awards (2019, 2020) and the HiP Award at Neocon 2020. As COO and Creative Director of Elementi, he expanded the brand’s footprint across New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
Today, Petrucci leads MC+, Officine Petrucci, and Fesennia — platforms where architecture, collectible design, fashion, agritourism, and farm-to-skin care converge into a single vision.
His work has been awarded internationally, including the International Architecture & Design Award Gold (2023, Concinnitas), the Archiproducts Award (2024, Impexa), the Interior Design Best of the Year (2024, Impexa Kitchen; finalist, Collis Table), and the German Design Award (2025, Impexa).
His projects and perspectives are widely covered, with recent features in Interni, Casabella, SHLTR, IFDM, Designerati, Cucina d’Italia, and Interior Design Magazine. Through every venture, Petrucci pursues design as a cultural dialogue, weaving Italian craft, and Californian vision into work that resonates globally.
